PUTIN SIGNED A DECREE ON RETALIATORY SEIZURE OF FOREIGN ASSETS
Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the introduction of temporary asset management of persons from unfriendly countries in response to the seizure or restriction of rights to Russian property abroad.


The relevant document is published on the Official Internet portal of legal Information.

As noted, the temporary manager of foreign assets in the Russian Federation will be Rosimushchestvo. The President decided to start with the securities of Finnish Fortum and a stake in Unipro.

The decree came into force on April 25. Among other things, they approved a list of assets for which temporary management has already been introduced. It consists of five sections - "Movable property", "Immovable property", "Securities", "Shares in the authorized (stock) capitals of Russian legal entities" and "Property rights".
