Perm plant, which was sanctioned by the United States, received a bankruptcy lawsuit
The Perm Arbitration Court (AC PK) has filed a lawsuit against one of the industrial enterprises in the region. The company Gestego, registered in Ulyanovsk, filed for bankruptcy of the Perm Plant of Metalworking Centers.

According to information from the judicial register, the reason for filing the lawsuit was the presence of the plant's debt in the amount of 17 million. The funds were not refunded for the previously delivered products. In the application, the creditor referred to two judicial acts that had entered into force. Both of them confirm the existence of debt.

The Perm enterprise is known as a manufacturer of high-precision equipment. The plant operates in the machine—building sector and has previously demonstrated stable financial results: in 2021, revenue amounted to 246.8 million, net profit - 7.4 million. However, the company did not publish more recent data on the financial situation.

In February 2023, the organization was sanctioned by the US government. This restriction, introduced against the background of geopolitical tensions, could affect the economic activity and financial stability of the plant. Now, a year later, the company is in danger of being officially declared bankrupt.

Gestego, the initiator of the lawsuit, specializes in the production of equipment and components for the metalworking industry: metal structures, coolant cleaning systems and enclosing elements for machine tools. The company declared bankruptcy of the counterparty, having not received payment under the contracts, and expects to recover funds through the insolvency procedure.

The trial may become the first stage in a lengthy procedure, during which the issue of introducing surveillance, searching for the debtor's property and, possibly, bringing the management of the enterprise to subsidiary responsibility will be resolved. The case is currently under consideration and the application is being accepted for trial.
