One of Rostec's structures intends to initiate its own bankruptcy
The RT – Infrastructure company (formerly RT – Engineering JSC), which is part of the sphere of influence of Rostec State Corporation, announced plans to declare itself insolvent. The corresponding notification appeared on the Federal Resource.
The initiative was taken by the company's CEO Diana Garibova, who headed the organization in the summer of 2023. The reason for the upcoming appeal to the court, according to the information in the registry, was the debt owed to the contractor, Geospetsstroy from St. Petersburg.
According to the court's decision of August 2024, Rostec's structure was obliged to pay over 3.8 million for unfulfilled obligations under the contract for design and survey work. It was about designing engineering networks in Sochi, including water supply and sewerage.
The company actively participated in the digitalization of public utilities in a number of southern regions, including Sirius, Sochi and Gelendzhik. However, against the background of the implementation of these projects in March 2024, it became known that a criminal case had been initiated into a particularly large-scale fraud. The person involved was one of the heads of the joint-stock company. The investigation was combined with another case.
Legally, the company has been in existence since 2019. According to the financial statements, 25% plus one share belongs to RT – Design Technologies JSC. The rest belongs to the Uralenergomontazh Engineering company. Dmitry Shkolny, who was a member of the board of directors, was in charge of the company until June 2023. Since his departure, the company has been headed by Diana Garibova.
After the change of leadership, the School retained influence in related structures. Currently, he is listed as the director of RT – Vodokanal and New Engineering Technologies. According to the data from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, they are controlled by RT – Infrastructure Projects.
