They are trying to recover more than 2 billion rubles from the company of Russian billionaire Alexander Mamut "Vanderkind". The bank "Trust" filed a lawsuit with the court.

The total amount of claims exceeds 2 billion rubles: 1.8 billion – principal debt, 415 million – term interest on the loan, 162 million – overdue interest. The corresponding claim was submitted to the Arbitration Court of Moscow.

The claim is made directly to JSC "Vanderkind", which develops a franchise network of one of the world's most famous children's toy stores "Hamleys".

In 2017, a loan agreement was concluded between Hamlis Lubyanka CJSC and Otkritie Financial Corporation Bank, under which the former received funds from the credit institution in the amount of 2 billion rubles at 13.5% per annum.

The term of the credit line was set until December 31 of the current year, the parties repeatedly extended the repayment schedule. In addition, as a guarantee for the fulfillment of obligations under the contract, Alexander Mamut provided a guarantee.

After the reorganization of Otkritie Financial Corporation Bank, the right of claim under this agreement passed to the plaintiff – PJSC Bank TRUST, which sent the defendant a claim for early fulfillment of obligations under the agreement.
