MOSCOW CITIZENS ALLOWED TO VISIT ZOOS
Mayor of the capital Sergei Sobyanin announced the easing up on restrictions. Now residents of Moscow will be able to go to zoos again, and the obligatory requirement of ‘remote work’ has also been canceled.

The information appeared on the official website of Sergei Sobyanin. The mayor noted that due to the mass vaccination campaign, the pandemic began to decline - hospitalizations began to occur 2 times less often (in comparison with the second half of June 2021). Now in Moscow, 7000 beds are occupied in Covid-19 departments, which is comparable to the minimum number at the beginning of April.

Last week, 4.5 million residents of the capital received the first component of the vaccine.

Due to the improvement of the situation, Sobyanin decided that the obligatory transfer to remote work of 30% of the company's employees will be canceled from August 13. At the same time, it is noted on the mayor's website that ‘remote’ work is recommended, but at the discretion of employers.

The requirements for mandatory measurements of temperature of employees every 4 hours and mandatory testing for Covid-19 have been canceled. Previously, employers were required to test at least 10% of employees every 15 days.

Restrictions on visits to zoos have been completely removed.

Now the residents of Moscow will be able to visit not only open, but also closed pavilions. Sobyanin stressed out that the capital has practically returned to normal life in recent weeks.

The requirements for observance of the mask regime and social distance are still preserved, and a ban on mass events is in effect. The work of theaters, cinemas and concert venues has not been fully restored either. Sobyanin added that he would like to remove these restrictions, but so far, it is too risky, since a rebound effect may occur.
