MORATORIUM ON INSPECTIONS OF SMALL AND MEDIUM-SIZED BUSINESSES MAY BE EXTENDED
The Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation announced several innovations that can make life of entrepreneurs easier.
We are talking about a new draft law providing, in particular, the extension of the moratorium on scheduled inspections which was introduced in spring.
We should recall that inspections were “frozen” for representatives of both small and medium-sized businesses. For the first half of 2020, according to the ministry, the number of inspections decreased by 46% compared to the same period in 2019.
The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade proposed to extend the established regime until the end of next year.
In addition, the draft law contains a number of amendments designed to simplify the procedure for obtaining a license for several types of activities at once, in particular, educational and medical licenses.
What is more, thanks to the draft law, not only the terms for issuing licenses may be reduced, but also a ban on the complete suspension of activities, if the violations are detected, will begin to operate.
The changes may also affect the document circulation. It was proposed to transfer it into electronic format.
