MISHUSTIN APPROVED A “ROAD MAP” FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT

Not so long ago, Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree providing for the reform of legislation in the field of entrepreneurship in several areas at once.

The document was called a “road map” and is aimed at the improvement of the regulatory framework in the field of business relations and corporate governance. The innovations will be developed and implemented in accordance with the requests from the entrepreneurial community.

In particular, the resolution provides for the improvement of bankruptcy legislation, valuation activities, as well as the corporate practices.

In addition, individual attention is paid to the problem of offshore zones and the withdrawal of the Russian assets from the national space. To achieve this goal, the development of legislation in the field of special administrative regions (SAR) is envisaged within the country. It will be more profitable to become residents of these territories (Russky and Oktyabrsky Islands).

According to the government, a detailed study and adoption of the draft laws in these areas will help improve both business legislation and the investment climate in Russia. Some of the laws are planned to be adopted this year.
