MIKHAIL MISHUSTIN ALLOWED A NUMBER OF RUSSIANS TO TRAVEL ABROAD
The day before, the country's Prime Minister announced the decision to partially open the possibility of flights for Russians who need to go abroad because of studying, work or necessity to help the relatives.
Commenting on the decision, Mikhail Mishustin indicated that the Government received many applications with requests to allow the flights to other countries for the citizens of above categories. The foreigners are also allowed to visit Russia for treatment or, if necessary, to stay with the relatives that need care.
When it comes to the full-scale resumption of flights with other countries, it is too early to talk about this.
For the moment, the possibility of sending to the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumers Protection a proposal to resume the flights with 15 countries from 15 July is being discussed at the Federal Air Transport Agency. The list of specific countries will be jointly agreed by the authorities. However, it is planned to open the flights to almost all the countries for business aviation.
If we talk about vacations abroad, the Ministry
of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation has already warned the Russians
about the regime that remains in the Schengen zone, which is currently impossible
to get into even with a valid visa. The European Union is in a state of opening
its internal borders, since the threat of the spread of coronavirus has not
disappeared yet.
