MATVIENKO PROPOSED TO IMPOSE A MORATORIUM ON BANKRUPTCY
Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko believes that the possible introduction of a moratorium on bankruptcy in Russia could contribute to the sustainability of the country's budget. She stated this at the plenary session of the Chamber of Regions.
"Maybe it is worth imposing a moratorium on bankruptcy, returning to the experience of overcoming the 2008 crisis, where this measure was very effective," Valentina Matvienko noted.
According to Matvienko, it is very important that the revenue side of the budget is clearly executed, and this directly depends on tax revenues. As the Chairman of the Federation Council stressed, it is very important to understand what will happen to the income tax and how many enterprises are currently at the stage of bankruptcy.
