Kuznetsova paid one million rubles to the educational institution to get the opportunity to speak at the Megacampus Summit 2023 educational conference. She planned her speech for 13:30 — at that moment the largest number of listeners were in the hall. However, instead of the promised time, the teacher was given the opportunity to speak only at 15:30. By this time, most of the listeners had already dispersed. Also, instead of the stated 30 minutes, the speaker spoke for only 24 minutes. Also, Kuznetsova's claims were caused by the fact that the organizers of the summit unreasonably cut out several slides from her presentation.

During the trial, it turned out that in order to organize the event, Synergy signed a contract with a contractor — an Individual Entrepreneur Gerasimov M. Lawyer Valeria Rytvina noted that in this way the university wanted to absolve itself of responsibility for the problems that arose during the summit, writes Mash.

Yulia Kuznetsova demanded that the university pay her the amount spent, as well as moral compensation.
