LAWYERS WERE DENIED A POSTPONEMENT FROM MOBILIZATION

As the agency points out, there are no preferences for lawyers in terms of granting a deferral from partial mobilization, and the Ministry of Justice itself cannot influence the situation. This is reported by Kommersant.

It is worth noting that the very form of the request of the FPA (explanations regarding the mobilization status of lawyers) is quite strange, given that their status is already obvious, and a request for a postponement would be more appropriate.

At the same time, certain specifics are still provided for lawyers – their status is suspended for the time of mobilization, for this the lawyer must apply to the regional chamber with an appropriate application. The status is resumed in the same way - according to the application, after the end of participation in the special operation.

Complaining about the formal approach of the Ministry of Justice, representatives of the FPA note that the problem of delays for lawyers requires careful study, not taking into account, obviously, the fact that a huge number of industries are trying to get a delay, and it is quite difficult for departments to cope with such a flow.
