Kazan Farmbiovet filed a bankruptcy lawsuit against Bashzoovetnaba
The Arbitration Court in Bashkortostan (AS RB) has begun to consider the application for insolvency of the Ufa company Bashzoovetnab (JSC). The initiator of the process was Farmbiovet company from Kazan. The court hearing is scheduled for early September. It should check the validity of the claim.
In addition, Agroline Trading House from Ufa has already announced its intention to file a lawsuit against Bashzoovetnab with a request to recognize its insolvency. But this claim has not yet been accepted by the court for production.
In March, the Arbitration Court of Tatarstan (AC RT) ruled in favor of Pharmbiovet. Bashzoovetnab was ordered to pay 7.2 million rubles. About 4.1 million was the amount of the principal debt, and the rest of the liability was the penalty accrued at that time. The reason for the debt was a violation of the terms of the contract for the supply of a veterinary drug signed by the participants in the lawsuit in 2020. The court of Appeal in Samara in July confirmed the decision of the lower court.
At the end of May of this year, the AC of the Republic of Belarus satisfied the application of the Agroline Trading House to Bashzoovetnab. The defendant was ordered to pay about 7.1 million. The amount of the principal debt (6.8 million) was determined by the agreement for the supply of veterinary drugs, which the parties signed in early 2023. The defendant was also charged 280 thousand penalties for late payment. The court decision in this case has not been appealed.
Ufa-based company Bashzoovetnab has been operating in the capital of Bashkortostan since 2008. Previously, the organization was established in the status of a state unitary enterprise. According to open source data, last year the company's revenue amounted to 30 million with a loss of 4.7 million.
Recently, the Ministry of Land and Property of Bashkiria announced that it was putting the organization up for auction. This is the seventh attempt to alienate the company's authorized capital. Potential buyers are invited to purchase 590.8 thousand shares of Bashzoovetnaba. The initial bid price is 69.1 million.
