HEAD OF THE RUSSIAN Union OF Industrialists AND Entrepreneurs: "THERE IS NO NEED TO REWRITE THE ENTIRE BANKRUPTCY LAW"
Alexander Shokhin, the head of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP), suggested not waiting for a complete update of the Insolvency Law, but accepting the indisputable blocks in the professional community separately, in stages. He stated this during the Verona Eurasian Economic Forum.

Shokhin stressed that it is impossible to slow down the adoption of the law by discussing controversial amendments.

"The position of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs is this: there is no need to rewrite the entire law. Otherwise, we will never write it, because there are a number of things that are obvious to everyone, and everyone agrees that they should be done," Shokhin explained.

The head of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs noted that discussions on a number of positions in the Insolvency Law should not become an obstacle to the reform of the bankruptcy institution.

According to Alexander Shokhin, the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs has agreed on a significant part of the bill. However, the head of the association did not name the controversial proposals.
