GOLDMAN GROUP IS COMPLETELY COVERED BY SBERBANK'S BANKRUPTCY LAWSUITS
Sberbank appealed to the Krasnoyarsk arbitration court with a demand to declare all legal entities belonging to the Goldman Group insolvent. A bankruptcy claim has also been filed against the Goldman Group Management Company (PJSC), which manages all the assets of the agricultural holding.
Rusbankrot informed Sberbank of its intention to file bankruptcy claims against the holding on January 12, 2024.
The defendants in the court turned out to be the First Procurement Company, TD Myasnichy, IS Petroleum, Sibneftrezerv and Atamanovskaya KHPP. Melodiya company from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky participates in several cases as a co-creditor with claims in the amount of 109 million rubles.
Earlier, the court had already begun to consider bankruptcy cases of two agricultural holding companies initiated earlier. The credit institution also plans to participate in them by applying to arbitration with petitions to join the case. The total amount of claims submitted by the bank exceeds 609 million.
Rusbankrot previously reported on the potential bankruptcy of AgroElita in November last year. The trial (case no.A03-20222/2022), which ended in August 2023 with the verdict of the 7th AAC, brought the company to the insolvency process. In December 2023, it became known that the assets of the beneficiary of the agricultural holding were arrested, and Roman Goldman himself went abroad.
At the end of January, a lawsuit was filed against Goldman himself. The bank demanded 609.6 million from him. The basis was the loan transactions obliging the borrower to return the funds with the payment of interest to the bank. The court accepted the claim for consideration on February 5, but left it without movement until March 11.
Sberbank is not the only organization demanding money from Goldman Group subsidiaries. Numerous appeals to the court in total amount exceed 1 billion rubles. Among the creditors are Rosbank, Yenisei United Bank, Region Finance (bondholder) and others.
Police are continuing to investigate the alleged fraud at the credit cooperative established by Goldman. About 1.2 thousand shareholders filed statements demanding to open a criminal case against the businessman in connection with the possible loss of savings. About 300 people have already been questioned. The regional legislative assembly, where Goldman was listed as a deputy, deprived him of his mandate.
