FTX CRYPTO EXCHANGE OWES CREDITORS OVER THREE BILLION DOLLARS
The Bahamian cryptocurrency exchange FTX has filed for bankruptcy in court and owes its creditors a large sum. This is reported by Reuters.

According to reports, the company owes over three billion dollars to its fifty largest creditors. At the same time, about one million people cooperate with FTX in total.

Information about the exchange's difficulties with liquidity appeared in the media at the beginning of the month. Then the exchange's token fell, she herself declared insolvency, and its creator Sam Bankman-Fried left the position of CEO. Liquidators headed by John Ray began to direct its activities.

On November 11, the assets of the FTX operator were frozen for the sake of the safety and stabilization of the exchange, and Bankman-Fried secretly transferred $ 10 billion of client funds to the accounts of the trading company Bankman-Fried Alameda Research, about two billion of which disappeared.

Later, the chief lawyer of the FTX crypto exchange division in the United States, Ryan Miller, said that the financial transactions were indeed unauthorized. The exact amount in question is not specified.
