FOREIGN PASSPORTS WILL BE WITHDRAWN FROM NON-TRAVELING DEBTORS
Federal agencies will draw up rules for the seizure of foreign passports from debtors and bankrupts included in the lists of citizens who are prohibited from leaving the country. The relevant regulations will appear before the end of 2023.
According to Rossiyskaya Gazeta, with reference to the Federal Bailiff Service, over 6.6 million debtors turned out to be on the lists of those not allowed to travel for five months of this year.
Chairman of the Board of the Association of Lawyers of Russia Vladimir Gruzdev said that the seized passports should be sent to the state body that issued them. In this regard, the citizen will have to pick up the document at the migration service.
