FIGHT MAYONNAISE. THE FOUNDER OF "SOLAR PRODUCTS" WANTS TO BE DECLARED BANKRUPT

Rusagro Group, which in 2018 bought the debts of a large producer of sunflower oil, mayonnaise and sauces "Solar Products", intends to declare the founder of the holding Vladislav Burov bankrupt due to non-fulfillment of a guarantee on one of the loans. The corresponding application has been submitted to the Arbitration Court of Moscow, Kommersant reports.

At the same time, at the end of September, Burov's application for his own bankruptcy was submitted to the court. Both documents were left without movement by the court until November 11, until the shortcomings were eliminated.

As the publication notes, the debt is related to the guarantee of the entrepreneur on the loan of "Solar products" JSC "Novosibirsk Fat Plant" (NLC), the rights to which were bought by Rusagro. At the end of the bankruptcy proceedings in NLC, in June 2021, NLC had a debt to Rusagro of over 105 million rubles, which was recovered from Vladislav Burov.

The founder of the holding, in turn, during the consideration of the case, filed a counterclaim with a request to terminate the guarantee agreement due to changed circumstances. In his opinion, the group of companies itself created the conditions for the bankruptcy of "Solar Products".

Rusagro stressed that Vladislav Burov owed more than 100 million rubles according to the court decision that has already entered into force.
