EXPERTS PREDICT AN INCREASE IN BANKRUPTCY APPLICATIONS. ALREADY MORE THAN 300 CASES IN 10 DAYS
The total amount of claims against legal entities for the period is 5.3 billion rubles
In the first 10 days after the end of the moratorium period imposed by the Government of the Russian Federation in April of this year, 307 bankruptcy applications were registered by the courts. This is reported by the portal
Pravo.ru
At the same time, experts predict an intensive increase in the number of cases in this category due to the worsening crisis situation.
At the same time, the number of registered insolvency cases after the lifting of the moratorium restrictions is significantly less than it was registered by the courts after the lifting of the corridor moratorium (307 vs. 1684), which demonstrates a significant difference between these two deferrals.
At the same time, if the overall economic situation in the country was relatively stable after the end of the covid restrictions, today everything is somewhat different: logistics chains are still disrupted, and parallel imports do not fully cope with the tasks set.
In this regard, according to experts, it was companies whose profits depended on the difference in price between the purchase and retail sale of a small volume of goods or services that were most susceptible to bankruptcy. Thus, despite the fact that at the moment the number of bankruptcy cases initiated after the end of the moratorium is not critical, in the future their growth may increase if the economic situation does not stabilize.
