EX-CO-OWNER OF PROMSVYAZBANK EXTENDED BANKRUPTCY FOR ANOTHER SIX MONTHS
The bankruptcy case of the former co-founder of Promsvyazbank Dmitry Ananyev (No. A40-58566/19) was decided to be extended for another 6 months. On September 29, the Moscow Arbitration Court granted the petition of the financial manager, who asked for an extension of the procedure, since not all the necessary measures had been completed yet. The next hearing on the case, at which the financial manager must report on his work, is scheduled for March 22, 2024.

Dmitry Ananyev's insolvency claim was filed in 2019. The initiator of the process was the bankruptcy trustee of the grain company "Nastyusha" Anton Nikeev. The plaintiff company, which was part of the holding of the same name, received the status of bankrupt in February 2018. However, in November 2019, the Arbitration Court of the city of Moscow stopped the process.

By the decision of the appellate instance (9th AAC) in June 2020, debt restructuring began in relation to Ananyev. The register of creditors also included the entrepreneur's debt to the grain company in the amount of 2.9 billion rubles (the main debt is 1.7 billion), Interfax writes.

In February 2021, Ananyev officially became insolvent. The circle of creditors in the process of legal proceedings included individuals (Sofia Simanovskaya, Kirill Yanovsky) and organizations (PSB Leasing, Levit Company, Marbale Universal Corporation, etc.).

Evgeny Vesnin was approved as the financial manager of the former banker in the summer of 2022. In October 2022, an appeal confirmed this, and in January 2023, the district court.

Promsvyazbank has financial claims to the former head for 278.4 billion. In November, the proceedings on this issue were suspended, since another verdict on the recovery of 282.2 billion rubles from the KDL of the credit institution has not yet entered into force. In the future, the size of the claims was reduced to 243.2 billion.

In the middle of last year, it was decided to recover part of this amount (91.2 billion) from the former owners and managers of the bank. This verdict stood in the appellate and cassation instances. The amount of 89.7 billion (Dmitry Ananyev's debt to Promsvyazbank) was included in the register of accounts payable in December 2022.

Recall that the bank itself was under the control of the Ananyev brothers almost until the end of 2017. Then the regulator announced its reorganization, transferring the credit institution to the Banking Sector Consolidation Fund. Subsequently, Rosimushchestvo became the owner of the bank, using it for financial transactions under contracts with the defense department. The US has imposed blocking sanctions against the bank.
