EURODON-YUGA'S DEBT OF 563 MILLION WAS PUT UP FOR AUCTION FOR 60 THOUSAND.
A large amount of accounts receivable related to businessman Vaneev has been put up for public auction. The bankruptcy trustee (CU) of Eurodon-Yug is engaged in the implementation of the claim rights. The nominal amount of debt is over 562 million, but the initial price of the lot is set at only 60 thousand rubles.

The basis for the sale was the determination of the Rostov Arbitration Court (AS RO), which collected this debt. Applications from potential purchasers are scheduled to be accepted from September 22 to October 28 this year. The results of the auction will be announced on October 31. To participate, applicants must make a deposit of 10% of the initial price to the company's checking account.

The event became the next stage in the long history of bankruptcy of agro-industrial assets previously associated with Vaneev. The entrepreneur was at the origin of the creation of large-scale projects in the Rostov region for the production of turkey meat (Eurodon) and duck (Donstar). They were the first in the country to enter industrial production volumes under well-known brands.

The crisis in companies began with a series of bird flu outbreaks in 2016-2018, which caused billions of dollars in damage and led to loan defaults. As a result, the original owner actually lost control of the enterprises, and the rights of claims on debts passed to the major players in the agricultural industry. The key asset buyer was subsequently the Damate Group, which not only bought out the production facilities, but also managed to restart work on them.

At the same time, bankruptcy lawsuits continued. In March 2025, a subsidy of 6.6 billion was collected from Vaneev for the obligations of Donstar. The court is scheduled to complete the bankruptcy procedure in respect of Eurodon-Yuga with the submission of the final report of the manager on December 17, 2025.

The Damate Group of Companies is currently the market leader in turkey meat production in Russia and has significantly strengthened its position by integrating these assets into its structure. The company's portfolio also includes projects on duck, mutton and dairy farming in several regions of the country.
