CRIME AND PUNISHMENT. IN NOVOKUZNETSK, THE HEAD WILL BE TRIED FOR DELIBERATE BANKRUPTCY
The police in Novokuznetsk have launched an investigation into the bankruptcy of the management company (CC), in the ruin of which the former director is suspected. A statement to the police was written by the bankruptcy trustee, who established the existence of a debt of the Criminal Code to resource-supplying organizations and the state.
As reported on the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the debts exceeded 7.6 million rubles, including 2.8 million arrears of administrative fines. The 36-year-old director established two firms through which housing maintenance was carried out in apartment buildings. They also collected payment for housing and communal services from the residents of the houses.
In the future, the collected funds were not transferred to the accounts of the Criminal Code, remaining with affiliated structures. As a result, the management company was in a state of complete insolvency and went into bankruptcy.
The investigation into the case initiated by the investigator of the Novokuznetsk Ministry of Internal Affairs continues. Punishment under the criminal law (Part 2 of Article 196 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) may include imprisonment for a period of 7 years.
The police do not specify about the head of which of the organizations that have gone bankrupt in recent years, the housing fund managers are talking about. According to data from open sources, there are 339 organizations operating on the territory of Novokuznetsk that serve the work of housing and communal services and housing fund managers. Of these, 165 are management companies.
