Anatoly Loginov, the former head of Paolo Conte Retail, and Oksana Rotar, the co-owner of the business, may be held liable in the amount of 331 million rubles at the request of the bankruptcy trustee Tatiana Dokukina. She published this information on the portal "Fedresurs". We are talking about the recovery of losses, which, according to KU, were inflicted by persons who controlled the activities of the shoe business.

According to Vedomosti, which drew attention to the situation, the reason for the losses remains a mystery. The participants of the proceedings themselves did not contact journalists. However, experts believe that it will be difficult to recover such a sum from Oksana Rotar. In the spring of 2022, the wife of the founder of the business, who owns a 50% stake, became bankrupt. Her property is now at the stage of implementation.

The family business of Andrey and Oksana Rotar was formed in the early 2000s. The main brands that have become widely known are Mega-Shoe and Paolo Conte. The network of trading enterprises successfully developed before the outbreak of the pandemic, being in 2019 on the 6th place in the country within the middle segment of prices. There were 81 retail outlets in the network. In 2020, the net profit of the business exceeded 9.1 million rubles with revenue of 1.8 billion.

However, the pandemic caused a blow to the business and its financial condition, during which the founder of the shoe chain Andrey Rotar died. This happened in October 2021. After that, numerous creditors, including Sberbank, began to apply to the company with monetary claims.

In February 2022, Rusbankrot wrote about a default of 594 million rubles, which the company allowed for one of the bond issues. By this time, many stores had already closed, the site had stopped working, and there was no money on the company's accounts to pay for the rental of retail space. Sberbank filed a claim for insolvency in arbitration, the debt to which exceeded 1 billion rubles.

In February of this year, it became known about the verdict of the court in the case of Mega-Shoe, a company from St. Petersburg that was part of the Rotary family shoe chain. The company was declared insolvent, as it acted as a guarantor in a transaction with a credit institution.
