CINEMAS AND THEATERS OF MOSCOW WILL RESUME THEIR WORK ON THE 1st OF AUGUST
A number of restrictions, including holding of spectacular, cultural and leisure activities in buildings and structures without the use of seats in the audience halls, will be lifted in the capital from July 13 by the decree of the Mayor of Moscow dated July 9, 2020 No. 77-UM.
However, the number of visitors to such events should not exceed 50% of the capacity of the premises. It is noted that maintaining social distance is still required.
The cinemas will resume their work in Moscow from August 1, and concerts, theatrical performances, and other similar events will be allowed as well.
It is necessary to note that there is a caveat that all the events should be held in buildings with no more than 3,000 seats. As for the sporting events, they will also be allowed, but no more than 50% of the fields (grounds) should be filled.
The decree noted that the program "Moscow Longevity" would be resumed from August 1.
Along with the above-mentioned restrictions, the following measures in Moscow will be lifted from July 13:
- the face mask obligatory;
- restrictions on the work of educational institutions;
- restrictions on the work of children's camps and entertainment centers;
- the prohibition on the work sections, circles and discos to work, provided that the premises are filled by no more than 50%;
- the ban on full-time classes in music, sports, art schools and other educational institutions;
- the prohibition on the work of parks, cultural centers, attractions and other leisure points.
