Information on a decree, according to which the authorities continue to lift the restrictions, has appeared on the official website of the Mayor of Moscow Sergei Sobyanin. In particular, the ban on night work of establishments has been canceled, and the mandatory requirement for the transfer of employees to remote work has been lifted as well.

The decree takes effect on January 27, 2021. We should recall that previously, the capital's catering establishments could not work from 11 pm to 6 am, but now they are again allowed to operate within 24 hours. However, it was noted that the sanitary and epidemiological requirements should be observed in the same volume.

The obligatory transfer of 30% of employees to remote work is not necessary any more.

The mayor's office added that now the rule is only advisory in nature - the decision the issues related to the personnel will remain with the management. As for the return of university students to the full-time education, this issue has been postponed until February 6, as it must be coordinated with the Ministry of Education and Science.

Sergei Sobyanin explained that in Moscow the situation with coronavirus was steadily improving - over the past week, the number of patients with infection did not exceed 3,000 people a day. Up to 50% of free beds appeared in hospitals, and the number of hospitalized patients decreased by 1000. The last time such figures were observed in June 2020.

Sobyanin added that now, when the pandemic finally started to decline, measures to restore the economy could be taken - for this reason, a new decree was adopted.
