BANKRUPTCY PROCEEDINGS HAVE BEEN INTRODUCED IN THE STRUCTURES OF A LARGE PHARMACEUTICAL DISTRIBUTOR
Following the bankruptcy of Asti Group, arbitration was transferred to its subsidiaries and other affiliated companies. Thus, the bankruptcy procedure was introduced in relation to Alenfarma and Accentmed. Both companies operated in the pharmaceutical market of the southern regions and were part of the supply chain of a large distributor, whose problems began to unfold back in 2024.

Alenfarma was the first to declare its own insolvency. The relevant appeal was submitted to arbitration in February 2024. Despite the impressive revenue, which reached 6 billion rubles, the debt burden of the business remained critical. By the beginning of 2025, accounts payable amounted to about 1.4 billion.

The company received a residence permit in Rostov-on-Don about 15 years ago. The organization worked in the field of wholesale of medicines, actively participated in public procurement. The largest customer was Rostovoblfarmatsiya. Now, according to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, its owner is Sergey Nefedov.

Until recently, this businessman headed another pharmaceutical segment company, Accentmed. At the beginning of 2025, she also requested recognition of her bankruptcy, after which arbitration entered the bankruptcy stage in relation to her. The founding members of Accentmed include Asti LLC (60%) and Evgenia Romanova (40%).

Asti itself, which is under the control of the group's co-owner Lyudmila Batalova, found itself in a similar situation earlier than others. In October, the court opened bankruptcy proceedings. Batalova herself received bankruptcy status as an individual in April of this year. The lawsuit contained an indication of her obligations to Sberbank in the amount of over 410 million. After that, the sale of property started in relation to her.

Asti Group, which has been operating in the pharmaceutical distribution market for 32 years, has been considered the largest regional operator for many years. The group's website states that it supplied over 10,000 names of medicines to dozens of regions of the country. With the beginning of the bankruptcy chain, the group's activities have actually stopped, and its structures are moving to the final stages of the procedure.
