BANKRUPTCY FOLLOWING A CRIMINAL CASE: THE DEBTS OF VSEVOLOD OPANASENKO'S T-PLATFORM EXCEEDED 1.8 BILLION RUBLES
Controlled by Opanasenko, T-Platforms, represented by the Baikal Electronics division, was engaged in the development of domestic Baikal server processors before the announcement of the cancellation of the release and sale of chips.

The bankruptcy case was initiated at the request of the debtor himself, as creditors Opanasenko indicated GC "VEB RF" (1.6 billion rubles), lender Romokhov-Vasiyauskas NV (about 90 million rubles), the company T-PLATFORMS (CYPRUS) LIMITED (4.8 million rubles), as well as a number of other persons. The total amount of debt owed to all creditors exceeds 1.8 billion rubles.

A number of enforcement proceedings have been opened against the debtor, which, apparently, will be completed after Opanasenko is declared bankrupt.

At the same time, the procedure for the sale of the debtor's property was introduced less than a month after the filing of an application for personal bankruptcy of a citizen.

Currently, Opanasenko, together with the head of the Information protection Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Alexander Alexandrov, is also a defendant in a criminal case on the fact of causing damage to the state as a result of fraud in the field of public procurement.

As the investigation indicates, Opanasenko and Alexandrov organized a public procurement for the needs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, however, subsequently the discrepancy between the supplied equipment and the declared characteristics was revealed.
