ASTRON MARINE SHIPYARD ON THE VERGE OF BANKRUPTCY
The deep financial crisis has become a reality for the Astron Marine shipbuilding company, headed by Viktor Stavsky. Accumulated debts and systemic problems led to the fact that the company was one step away from insolvency proceedings. The arbitration in St. Petersburg, where a corresponding application was received on October 22, 2025, can put an end to the protracted difficulties.

The initiator of the process was a private creditor Ivan Agaverdiev. His identity is not disclosed in detail in the judicial file. The amount of his financial claims against the shipyard is estimated at 2.3 million rubles. However, this figure is only a fraction of the total debt burden.

The actions of the tax authorities made the situation critical. According to the Federal Tax Service (FTS), the total debt reached 2.7 million rubles. The first restrictions in the form of suspension of operations on accounts in the Bank of St. Petersburg were introduced in the spring of this year. The measure was repeated several times during the summer – in June, July and August, which effectively blocked the financial life of the company.

At the moment, the company's current accounts are still paralyzed. This deprived Astron Marine of the opportunity not only to pay taxes, but also to fulfill obligations to partners and suppliers. The lack of access to working capital and the inability to conduct normal business activities have greatly increased the likelihood of the company's official declaration of bankruptcy.

The court proceedings initiated by Ivan Agaverdiev's lawsuit are capable of launching a formal bankruptcy procedure for a once promising player in the shipbuilding market. The current situation around the company clearly demonstrates the consequences of prolonged insolvency and the blocking of accounts by fiscal authorities.
