ASSETS OF THE CHELYABINSK BANKRUPT CONTRACTOR WILL BE SOLD
As a result of the consideration of the insolvency case, the Chelyabinsk Arbitration Court (AS CHO) decided to complete the monitoring procedure with respect to Kizildorstroy and proceed to bankruptcy proceedings. This stage involves the termination of the company's activities and the forced sale of its property for subsequent settlements with creditors. The relevant information is posted on the official portal of the court.

The financial difficulties of the company became apparent last year: with significant revenue of 3.5 billion, a net loss approaching 630 million rubles was recorded. This seriously undermined the contractor's economy and became one of the immediate reasons for initiating bankruptcy proceedings.

The original applicant in court was Uraltrade Trading Company LLC, whose claims in the amount of 55.8 million rubles (including debt and penalty) were satisfied and entered into the register. Subsequently, other creditors joined the process (Bashnedraresur, Istok asphalt plant, IP Alexey Izmyakov). By August last year, the total amount of claims was estimated at 228.4 million, but by now the total debt owed to more than twenty organizations has reached 1.5 billion.

The monitoring procedure was introduced in the summer of 2025, and on January 15, the court officially declared the company bankrupt and opened bankruptcy proceedings, the deadline for which is set until July 15. The functions of the bankruptcy trustee are assigned to Alexey Skrynnik, a member of the Interregional SRO PAU Association. His duties include the formation of the bankruptcy estate and the organization of the sale of assets of the debtor.

The Kizildorstroy Company, registered in 1992, has been a major regional contractor in the field of road construction for many years. During its operation, the company has signed 192 government contracts totaling 2.2 billion. They were mainly related to the repair and maintenance of highways in the Chelyabinsk region.

The case of this company is typical of the general situation in the road construction industry. As noted by the National Association of Infrastructure Companies, almost 47% of the backbone enterprises of this sector in Russia are at risk of insolvency. Experts attribute this to chronically low profitability of projects. To remedy the situation, industry representatives insist on reviewing the cost of government contracts and expanding targeted government support in line with modern economic realities.
