(Alfa Group investment division) about the recovery of 1.3 billion rubles from Credit Suisse Bank, third parties in the dispute were announced by Credit Suisse Securities Moscow LLC and Credit Suisse Bank Moscow JSC.
The details of the dispute have not been disclosed, and the application itself has not yet been accepted for production, but, presumably, the dispute is related to the assets of Alfa Group blocked in Europe.
Earlier, Credit Suisse Bank announced its intention to withdraw from the Russian market, and its chief executive officer Thomas Gottstein said that "in accordance with the principles and policy, Credit Suisse approves all sanctions [against Russia – ed.], in particular, EU, US and Swiss sanctions."
Currently, the bank is prevented from leaving Russia by the arrest imposed on its shares by Transcapitalbank on a claim for the recovery of funds on a syndicated loan.
