The Eurologistic company, which was engaged in the transportation of garbage (MSW) in the Belgorod region, will cease operations and leave the market. This was announced by Vice-Governor Sergei Dovgalyuk. According to the deputy head of the region in charge of housing and communal services, the place of the enterprise will be taken by the transport company Ecotrans.
Until 2023, the company operated on the territory of Stary Oskol. The other day, the head of this district, together with the deputy governor, held a meeting with employees of the Eurologistic society, inviting them to go to work at Ecotrans.
Eurologistics has been working in the region for more than 10 years. According to data for 2023, the company suffered losses of 87 thousand with revenue of 1.2 billion. In 2023-2024, a company with an authorized capital of 10 thousand received state contracts worth about 12.2 billion rubles.
At the end of July 2024, Rusbankrot already covered the conflict related to the activities of a solid municipal waste transporter. It was connected with the indignation of market participants that almost all agreements on the export of municipal solid waste were transferred by the authorities exclusively to one company. The Ecotrans Transport Company and the Bel-Wayst company complained to the Federal Antimonopoly Service.
The earlier litigation between Eurologistics and the Ecotrans Transport Company eventually led to the recovery of 3.4 million rubles from the company (case no. A08-5601/2023). It was this amount that formed the basis of the bankruptcy lawsuit initiated by Econtrans in August 2024 (case no. A08-8735/2024). On October 22, the arbitration accepted the claim for consideration.
It was from this date that several vehicles have already started garbage collection in the territory entrusted to them, Kommersant reports. According to the authorities, the work schedule will be stabilized over the next week, and local residents will feel an improvement in the environmental situation near their homes.
The Ecotrans Transport Company (LLC) has been operating in Belgorod since 2002. The company is owned by Nikolai Shein (65%), who heads the organization, and Yulia Gilyadova (35%). According to data for 2023, the company received about 6.4 million rubles in profit with revenue of 565 million. It is planned that the regional operator for the management of solid municipal waste, the Center for Environmental Safety, will conclude state contracts with the Ekontrans Transport Company out of competition. It is planned to hold auctions by the end of the year.
