A LARGE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FROM UFA IS UNDER THREAT OF BANKRUPTCY
The Vostokneftezavodmontazh company (JSC VNZM), which implements construction projects for oil and gas enterprises, may go into bankruptcy. Bashkir arbitration satisfied the requirement of the company "Top Technologies of the Urals", which performed electrical work on a subcontract. VNZM must pay 131.5 million rubles. At the same time, notifications of intentions to bankrupt the company in October 2022 have already been received from 12 creditors.

Earlier, applicants from different regions have already applied to arbitration with claims against VNZM. The total debt of the company in the amount of claims in the arbitration court is almost 347 million rubles. Last year, the company ended with a loss of 2.4 billion, despite the revenue received in the amount of 6.6 billion.

One of the creditors was a subsidiary of Ufa-1 VNZM, which is already undergoing insolvency proceedings. The bankruptcy trustee sent a claim to recover the debt to her to the court.

AK "VNZM" is the heir of the trust of the same name, established in Bashkiria in 1958. In various years, the company has built the largest oil refineries in the industry, including Ufa and Novoufimsky refineries, Ufaneftekhim, Ufaorgsintez and other industrial facilities.

Currently, the structure of JSC "VNZM" includes 9 assembly plants, 2 enterprises for the manufacture of metal structures and 7 other various organizations. The main beneficiaries of the company are Fanil Khusnutdinov and Halit Bikmukhametov, who own the company through various legal entities in which they own controlling stakes ("Management-5", "Management-15", "Trust", "M-Service").

The lawsuit with the subcontractor arose due to incomplete payment of the object being built at the Yamal oil and gas condensate field. In 2020, the partner signed a contract for work worth 412 million rubles. However, VNZM underpaid 126.9 million rubles. In April 2022, the firm was forced to apply to arbitration, which awarded it 131.5 million, including penalties and interest, according to RBC. At the same time, the debtor still has a chance to appeal this verdict in the appeal.
