A CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FROM ST. PETERSBURG IS ON THE VERGE OF BANKRUPTCY
The construction company Geoisol, which designs and builds underground facilities in St. Petersburg, is experiencing serious financial problems. Recent changes in the ownership structure and restrictions imposed on the organization by the Federal Tax Service (FTS) are putting the business on the verge of bankruptcy.

At the end of August, the company came under the control of Alexey Gnevashev. He replaced Elena Lashkova as the owner on August 28, 2025. Interestingly, there is practically no information about this owner. He is not listed as a founder or head of other organizations, which creates additional uncertainty around the situation with Geoisol.

Operations on the company's accounts with major banks such as Sberbank, VTB and Alfa-Bank were suspended due to tax arrears. The suspension of operations remains in effect as of September 1, 2025, and the basis for this was the collection of debts by the tax authorities.

In addition, the threat of insolvency loomed over Geoisol. The arbitration is currently considering a case initiated by the Business Group firm. The first meeting is scheduled for October 1. The company "JV PANT" is also involved in the case, which applied for interim measures. The organization demanded that the defendant be prohibited from making changes to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, alienating assets and providing a monthly transaction report. But the court rejected this request.

In the last 12 months, several lawsuits have been filed to recover debts from Geoisol, totaling 1.4 billion rubles. The creditors include various structures, including SK Krona. The company's activities are also currently being monitored by the Labor Inspectorate.

Despite financial difficulties, in 2024 the company showed revenue growth to 14.1 billion. This is 1.4 billion more than in 2023. The total assets of the organization at the end of the year were estimated at 29.2 billion, which indicates an increase of 27.3%. At the same time, the company's profit amounted to only 3 million. By May 10, the company's debts on tax payments amounted to 36 million.

In recent years, the organization has participated in 200 tenders totaling more than $70.7 billion. The customers were large government agencies. In total, the company has signed contracts with 73 such structures. One of the most significant deals was an agreement on the construction of a bus fleet worth 11 billion.
