Arbitration in Chelyabinsk (AS CHO) is considering the bankruptcy application of the firm "Construction Resources". The lawsuit was filed by the tax authorities, demanding that the company be declared insolvent. The amount of debt under the stated claims is 523.1 million.

The company, which is a contractor for the Ministry of Defense, attracted the attention of the authorities back in February 2024. Then her accounts were seized by the decision of the prosecutor's office. This step was taken to secure a claim related to the recovery of $43.9 million.

The prosecutor's office applied to the court at the end of 2023. The case involves third parties, including such important structures as the Main Directorate for the Deployment of Troops and other organizations of the Russian Ministry of Defense. The process has been going on for more than a year and a half, and all court hearings on the case are held behind closed doors. The next meeting is scheduled for September 9th.

Previously, Construction Resources successfully fulfilled a number of government contracts, participating in the construction of facilities for the Ministry of Defense. However, the company's financial problems gradually accumulated, and it found itself in a difficult situation.

Construction Resources was founded in January 2015 in Chelyabinsk. Its head is Oleg Rokitsky. In 2023, the company ended the fiscal year with a loss of 7 million. However, by the end of 2024, the company's financial statements have not been published.

The introduction of bankruptcy proceedings, against the background of unsatisfactory financial results and accumulated debts, jeopardizes the fulfillment of the company's current obligations, including under government contracts with the Ministry of Defense. The situation with the seizure of accounts and debts owed to the tax authorities has only worsened the company's situation, and now its future is in the hands of the courts.
