The bankruptcy proceedings, started at the enterprise more than 8 years ago, ended at the end of September 2022. Now the arbitration decision has entered into force. The Kovdorslyuda company, which was owned by the Murmansk Shipping Company, ceased to exist.

The company started working in 2005. Prior to that, a joint-stock company with a similar name was engaged in the extraction of ceramic pegmatites and the production of other useful products.

In 2013, the company went into debt to its own staff. Almost three hundred people were left without a salary.

The total amount of the organization's debt to employees amounted to almost 6 million rubles. Soon the company went into bankruptcy, and the employees were sent on indefinite leave from 2014.

In the course of the proceedings, the head of the company, Irina Yakovenko, also fell under a criminal article. She was charged with evading the duties of a tax agent and delaying the salaries of employees. The former CEO was sentenced to 1.5 years of real imprisonment and a fine of 100 thousand. The court also deprived Yakovenko of the right to manage any business for two years.

By 2015, it became clear that the company's debt exceeded 62 million rubles. The authorities of the Murmansk region have included the organization in the list of the largest debtors of the region. As a result, the bankruptcy was delayed until 2022.

According to the press service of the court, the company's debt by the time the insolvency procedure was completed exceeded 535.7 million rubles. At the same time, only 40.5 million rubles from the bankruptcy estate were spent on debt repayment, local media note. Salary requirements (second stage), as well as part of the obligations to creditors (third stage) were partially satisfied.
