ZONES FOR VACCINATED GUESTS MAY APPEAR IN MOSCOW RESTAURANTS
Restaurateurs of Moscow spoke to the Mayor of the city with a proposal to introduce zones free from COVID-19. People who have provided information about vaccination or a negative PCR test will be able to stay in them.
The implementation of the idea can become an experiment.
The idea of introduction coronavirus-free zones was announced during the meeting of the Mayor of Moscow with members of the Federation of Restaurateurs and Hoteliers.
The initiative came against the backdrop of a situation with the spread of the disease in the capital.
Last year, the smaller number of infected people led to the complete closure of a number of enterprises and multimillion-dollar losses for businesses.
Speaking to the audience, Sergei Sobyanin announced the decision on compulsory vaccination of employees who work in areas related to a high level of social contacts. The Mayor of Moscow noted
that the decision was not easy to take, but without it, it would simply not be possible to bring down a new wave of morbidity.
Moscow restaurateurs, in turn, expressed support for the authorities' intentions to stop the spread of infection and came up with the idea of creating public zones free from COVID-19. The conditions for staying in them could be the vaccination of the personnel working in such institutions and the control of the documents on vaccinations and the results of PCR tests presented at the entrance.
