ZHIRINOVSKY PROPOSED NOT TO ALLOW RUSSIANS LEAVE THE COUNTRY
The head of the Liberal Democratic Party, Vladimir Zhirinovsky, came up with an initiative, according to which the Russians should be prohibited from leaving the borders of the Russian Federation for tourist purposes. The deputy is sure that it was the vacationers who "brought the second wave."
In addition to the urgent need to close the borders, Zhirinovsky notes that it is important to punish those who are responsible for opening communications between the countries. He states that in the future, borders should be opened only with those states, where the coronavirus has been defeated.
We should recall that the borders of Russia began to open on August 1 - Turkey, Great Britain and Tanzania were the first to receive Russians.
In October, airlines got a permission to communicate with 24 countries, and there is no talk of a complete closure of the borders so far. It is worth noting that the record in the number of newly arrived tourists in Turkey was recorded last week.
According to the information for the last 24 hours, 15 982 new cases of covid-19 were recorded in Russia. 5,328 patients have recovered and 179 have died. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 1,415,316 cases have been identified in the country, and 315,046 are currently active.
