VYACHESLAV VOLODIN PROPOSED TO GET RID OF ANONYMITY ON THE INTERNET
The tragedy with the school shooting that occurred the day before has already provoked a number of legislative initiatives. Among them there are both ideas on toughening the rules for obtaining weapons licenses, and an initiative to get rid of anonymity on the Internet.

Yesterday, the parliamentarian Vyacheslav Volodin expressed condolences on the incident in his Telegram channel and pointed out the presence of a number of proposals.

First of all, the speaker of the State Duma spoke about additional steps that should be taken in connection with the incident. In particular, he mentioned the measures related to the rules for the circulation of weapons, the issuance of certificates for obtaining a license, as well as the tightening of the overall mechanism for obtaining appropriate permits.

Another idea was a measure of abandoning anonymity on the Internet, which, according to Volodin, requires discussion.

The speaker noted that supporters of the initiative adhered to the position that this would significantly reduce the amount of content that promotes violence.

We should recall that on the morning of May 11, a 19-year-old former student organized an explosion in one of the schools in Kazan and opened fire on the students in the classroom. At the moment, it is known about 9 victims (seven children and two school teachers), as well as dozens of injured who are in hospitals.

According to preliminary data, the weapon with which the young man entered the school was acquired in a legal way. As for the personality of the shooter, the graduates who studied with him described the guy as a reserved, uncommunicative young man.
