VLADIMIR PUTIN SUPPORTED THE IDEA OF MORATORIUM ON BUSINESS INSPECTIONS
Vladimir Putin agreed with the proposal to extend this year's moratorium on inspections for SMEs. The President noted that he will raise this issue in the government.
The initiative to extend the moratorium was voiced at the presidential meeting with members of the United Russia party on August 22. Parliamentarian Andrei Makarov came up with the idea of preserving the measure for next year.
The President agreed with him, adding that the less administrative pressure, the better.
However, the leader of the state recalled that the issue of suspension of inspections is also interconnected with consumers’ safety.
We should remind our readers that a moratorium on inspections of SMEs was introduced in April 2020 as part of supporting entrepreneurship during the pandemic. Then, at the initiative of Putin, the government extended the measure until 2021. Now there are prerequisites for the introduction of a moratorium in 2022.
Additionally, the participants of the meeting discussed the availability of digital services for small businesses. Putin also noted that this must be done, and the state, for its part, will try to ensure the implementation of the project.
