VAT FOR TOUR OPERATORS MAY BE CANCELED IN THE NEAR FUTURE

According to the news agency, a conclusion from the GPU (State Legal Department) is now expected. It is assumed that the bill will be considered and submitted to the government at the next legislative activity commission.

It is also noted that the project will be adopted in the spring session.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed to exempt tour operators from VAT for the sale of tours within the country. At the same time, the support measure will be retroactive from January 1, 2023. The benefit will last until June 30, 2027.
