THE STATE DUMA PROPOSED A WAY TO MAKE EVERYONE WEAR MASKS
THE STATE DUMA PROPOSED A WAY TO MAKE EVERYONE WEAR MASKS
The deputy of the State Duma Yaroslav Nilov, speaking on Sputnik radio, told the listeners how to make people stop ignoring the requirement of wearing of masks and gloves. Today, despite medical recommendations, many Russians do not use personal protective equipment in public places.
Nilov noted that the most obvious reason for such a behavior is financial, as people do not want to spend money on masks. That is why they need help, believes the deputy. Nilov said that masks and antiseptics should be free of charge. At the moment, this can be done at the expense of cafes and shops, where personal protective equipment will be distributed to everyone.
The deputy noted that it would not be too expensive, since the retail price of one mask now is 3 rubles.
When it comes to antiseptics, Nilov says that social advertising is needed here. He recalled that elderly people are at risk - and they especially believe in what is said on the TV. The deputy said that this way should be used and the propaganda aimed at their health protection should be strengthened.
As of October 23, 17,340 cases are detected in Russia, and the total number of patients with coronavirus is approaching 1.5 million people. There are 333 870 active cases and 25 525 deaths.
