Thus, according to the initiative of the department, it is proposed to completely exclude from the code the article on registration of illegal transactions with real estate, as well as other compositions related to real estate and securities.
Separate changes should relate to liability for non–payment of taxes by the organization – it is proposed to change the disposition of the article in terms of the amount of major damage, increasing it by 7.5 million rubles, and especially large - by 20 million rubles.
The subject of the legislative initiative explains the need to adopt amendments by "improving the business climate" in the future, taking into account the current sanctions situation in the country.
It is also worth noting that these amendments are not something unexpected, since they were prepared in accordance with the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation, who previously stated the need to create favorable conditions for doing business by making adjustments to the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation in terms of economic compositions.
At the moment, the project is at the stage of public discussion. Business representatives note the need to include changes in the package of amendments regarding other economic crimes, which include acts in the field of intellectual property and violations of antimonopoly legislation.
