THE MINISTRY OF FINANCE PROPOSED TO SIMPLIFY THE WORK OF SMALL BUSINESS

The Ministry of Finance introduced a draft law, according to which the amount of insurance premiums for small businesses in 2021 should be kept at the level of 2020.

Instead of 45,200 rubles, the representatives of individual enterprises will have to pay 40,900 rubles. It is assumed that this will help reduce the burden on small businesses and create comfortable conditions for the economic recovery.

According to the previous plan, approved back in 2019, the amount of insurance premiums was supposed to be increased by 10.6% in 2021.

However, due to the coronavirus pandemic and the economic downturn, the Ministry of Finance made a decision to make adjustments.

We should recall that individual entrepreneurs with a yearly income of up to 300 thousand rubles a year pay a fixed contribution. If the profit exceeds the specified figure, 1% of the amount goes to the budget as well. According to the preliminary calculations, due to exemption introduced in 2021, the budget will receive 25.6 billion rubles less.
