THE DEPUTIES PROPOSED TO RETURN THE RETIREMENT AGE

The head of the "Fair Russia" party, Sergei Mironov, stated that it was necessary to return to the "pre-reform" retirement age. Moreover, the government that made a decision on it has resigned. 

We should recall that previously, the retirement age was 60 years for men and 55 years for women. Mironov said that it was necessary to act "according to conscience."  

“People will be grateful for this, and the public confidence in the authorities will return,” summed up the deputy. 

What is more, "Fair Russia" proposed to carry out an annual indexation of pensions so that the payments could keep pace with inflation.    
The 2019 pension reform increased the retirement age to 60 for women and 65 for men. At the same time, there are concessions for the Russians engaged in hard labor, teachers, doctors and some other specialists.
