THE AMOUNT OF RETIREE HEALTH CARE BENEFIT MIGHT BE RAISED UP TO 10,000 RUBLES

The deputies of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia are planning to submit a draft law designed to significantly increase the amount of retiree health care benefit to the State Duma.

It is supposed to legally approve an annually indexed monthly payment of 10 thousand rubles.

If the law is adopted, this rule of law will affect unemployed able-bodied citizens who have a legal custody of elderly people, as well as custody of people who, for medical reasons, need constant help or elderly people aged 80+.

According to the authors of the draft law, the payment provided for by the law is in fact earnings for people who are engaged in this type of activities, given that they do not receive wages from employers.

Earlier, the draft law was rejected by the Cabinet of Ministers due to the lack of information on the sources of expenditure obligations.

We should recall that the amount of payment in question is currently 1,200 rubles - this figure has not changed over the past 12 years. If the law is adopted, the rule of law will start working from the beginning of next year.
