THE ALL-RUSSIAN UNION “FEDERATION OF INDEPENDENT TRADE UNIONS OF RUSSIA” ASKED FOR RECONSIDERATION OF THE AMENDEMENTS TO THE LAW ON INSOLVENCY

The day before, the Chairman of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Russia sent a letter to the head of the State Legal Department of the President of the Russian Federation.

The document contains a request to return the draft law on amending bankruptcy legislation, which is currently being considered, back to the Government of the Russian Federation.

The fact is that during the development of the draft law, the text of it was submitted three times for consideration by the Russian Trilateral Commission for the Regulation of Social and Labor Relations (hereinafter referred to as the Commission), against the final version of which its members spoke unanimously.

However, despite this, the Ministry of Economic Development completed the procedure for approving the draft law in the Government of the Russian Federation, and the text of the document was sent to the State Legal Department of the President of the Russian Federation.

The All-Russian Union focuses on the need to implement its decisions and hold consultations with the parties of the All-Russian Associations of trade unions and employers.

The Union sees the purpose of such events to finalize the draft law, taking into account the submitted proposals and comments.

The letter also indicates the need to send a reconsidered draft law to the Commission's secretariat for its further consideration.
