Stressful work may give Russians the right to a day off
An MP from LDPR party proposed to consolidate the right of Russians to an additional day off if their activities are associated with permanent stress at the legislative level.  The Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Russia (FITUR) has already expressed support for the idea.

It is proposed to provide a day of rest to the employees whose activities are associated with the permanent stress.

In this case, employees will be entitled to one additional day off per month.

According to the FITUR representative Mikhail Shmakov, the idea is good, and he supports it. However, Shmakov noted that the proposal should first be considered by the Russian Tripartite Commission, which is planned to be done, TASS reports.

It is worth noting that the initiative to provide an additional day off for stressful work belongs to LDPR’s MP Boris Chernyshov. He sent a corresponding appeal to Anna Popova, the head of the Russian Federal State Agency for Health and Consumer Rights. As the reasons that prompted such a proposal, the parliamentarian named the events taking place in the past two years. The deputy noted that many experts recorded widespread stress, as well as emotional burnout among the employees.
