RUSSIANS WILL RECEIVE 1000 RUBLES FOR RISE IN FOOD PRICES
The head of the Sovecon analytical center, Andrei Sizov, offered to provide support to the residents of Russia in order to smooth out the rise in food prices. According to the expert, 500-1000 rubles per person will be enough.
Sizov spoke about his proposal in an interview with Rossiyskaya Gazeta, noting that the state should pay the Russians extra for the rise in food prices. The program will cost the budget 120 billion rubles, excluding administrative costs. At the same time, the measure of state support will help to stimulate demand and help in the development of the agricultural and food business.
Sizov stressed out that the rise in prices will continue.
The expert recalled the American SNAP program - residents of the States, whose income does not reach a certain level, receive about $ 200, but can only spend them on food.
Earlier, the State Duma has already received a bill on the introduction of food ration cards for Russians with low income. However, it was rejected. According to the project, residents of the Russian Federation, whose income does not reach the subsistence level, were supposed to receive 25% of the local subsistence level - they were supposed to be spent exclusively on food.
