RUSSIANS WILL BE FINED FOR THE REFUSALS TO BE VACCINATED
The new draft law of the Code of Administrative Offenses contains clauses, related to the compulsory medical examinations and vaccination of the population. If the provisions are approved, the members of the “anti-vaccine” movement will begin to receive official fines.
It is assumed that the fines for violations will be issued both to ordinary citizens and legal entities. According to preliminary data, 5-7 thousand rubles will have to be paid for a refusal to be vaccinated. Up to 20 thousand rubles will be required from the individual entrepreneurs; moreover, they may face a ban on conducting activities for up to 30 days. Legal entities also might face this measure as well as a fine of up to 30 thousand rubles.
The Ministry of Justice commented on the initiative, noting that it will not affect the majority of Russians — only professional groups, associated with sanitary and epidemiological risks. It is also known that the new edition of the Code of Administrative Offenses includes liability for the violation of self-isolation and restrictive measures.
The information that the fines for the vaccination refusals would affect only certain professional groups was also confirmed by the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumers Protection. The officials stated that it would not be required to be vaccinated for all the citizens of Russia.
