Russian State Duma proposed to allow spending maternity capital on the purchase of a car
Parliamentarian Yana Lantratova took the initiative to provide the opportunity to use maternity capital to buy a car. The official explained this by the fact that a car is a necessity, especially for large families. A corresponding appeal has already been sent to Tatyana Golikova.
Explaining her intention to amend the regulation, Lantratova said that the idea came to her from the parents.
What is more, the program of preferential car loans for families that exists until the end of next year could provide additional support in this case.
The MP noted that a car is just a necessity for families, especially when there are several children. In this case, the trip of all members of a family at once becomes a real problem. At the same time, some parents simply do not have the opportunity to purchase a car on their own.
According to the parliamentarian, a family car can significantly improve the standard of living of Russian families, provide opportunities for more comfortable travel both in daily life and in the format of travel and vacations, Izvestia reports.
