RUSSIAN MINISTRY OF JUSTICE WILL SPEND 230 MILLION RUBLES ON A LEGAL ADVICE BOT
The Ministry of Justice has announced the development and implementation of a chat bot that will be able to consult on various kinds of legal issues and promptly send links to the requested regulations.

The Digital Lawyer project will be implemented as part of the digitalization program and will include both voice and text assistants. 230 million rubles have been allocated for its implementation, reports Kommersant.

It is assumed that consulting will become a free service, and the number of users is expected to be 20 million by 2023.

With the help of a digital lawyer, people will be able to quickly find answers to legal questions, as well as receive information about the requested regulations.

The Ministry of Justice believes that the difference between the new product and other chat bots is that the system is trained on an array of regulatory legal acts. What is more, the program can be used both on government and commercial digital resources.

It should be said that this is not the first attempt to create a chat bot for solving various kinds of legal issues, and it is not yet clear whether it will be successful.

At the moment, many of the available services, in fact, refer simply to regulatory legal acts, so people often use search engines on the Internet.
